Randy P. Russell, a Louisiana native born in Marrero, family roots greatly defined how I practice law.  Raised in a home where a strong work ethic was modeled by both my parents, they also emphasized the importance of education.  Not taking the "traditional" route to college or law school, I worked after high school in the oilfield, industrial construction welding and electrical.  I understand the value of hard work and the dollar and work hard to ensure my clients get what they deserve. 

I joined the Louisiana Army National Guard (1984 - 1992) which enabled me to attend college at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA.  Working full-time, I began my journey into law through night school at the Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans.

My legal career began as a law clerk.  I assisted numerous partners in the areas of plaintiff personal injury cases, casualty insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, business litigation, and domestic matters.  Upon obtaining my license, I worked as an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm that focused on casualty cases representing major insurance companies gaining a deep understanding and insight of insurance companies and their processes.  I went on to complete a trial academy sponsored by the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (LADC).  It is here I litigated hundreds of personal injury claims. 

In 1999 I joined a very prominent Louisiana personal injury attorney and in 2005, I founded my law office on the Northshore in Mandeville, Louisiana.  It is with personal traits of respect and a direct approach coupled with a strong belief in honesty and integrity has molded me into the attorney I am today.

Randy Russell was admitted to practice in Louisiana and before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana in 1996.

Randy P. Russell is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. He was Vice Chairman in 1999 and past Treasurer for the Civil Law and Litigation Section.  He also belongs to the New Orleans, Greater Covington and Jefferson Parish bar associations, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and was a past member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
